Who we are

Meditrac is a product of Kodecraft, a software company headquartered in Durban, South Africa. We build tools that are simple, reliable and designed around the people who use them every day — doctors, reception and patients.

What we are building

Meditrac is a clinical practice platform for modern healthcare professionals. We bring appointments, patient records, clinical notes, prescriptions, in-room stock and a patient portal together so practices can run better and care better.

We want medical records to be easily available to patients, through a secure digital experience they can actually use. At the same time, we want a genuinely good product for doctors: less administration, a smoother daily workflow, and software that feels like it was made for a modern practice rather than a legacy system with a new interface.

Medical aid details already sit on the patient chart. Meditrac is integrated for claims switching with all major medical aids in South Africa, so submitting and tracking claims lives in the same workspace.

How we treat the record

Each practice’s patients stay isolated from every other practice. Meditrac acts as an operator under POPIA: your practice remains responsible for the chart. Clinical staff sign in with multi-factor authentication, identifiers are protected, and activity is audited. We do not send patient records to AI providers.
